I recently discovered this little gem at my local discount bookstore, and read it in 5 days flat. It's by no means an intellectual read, so if that's what you are after, stear clear - this is chick-lit at its best! The story centres around Niamh O'Flaherty, a girl who has grown up in all that is Irish, and is expected to marry a nice Catholic Irish boy. When she falls head over heals in love with the complete opposite, meeting the future inlaws is the least of her worries... it's her own family who needs to be convinced more! A light, fun read, perfect after an evening of fighting with kids to go to bed!
